Rumors indicate that a DDoS attack is active against Ebay. This type of attack is designed to act like thousands, or even millions, of normal users and overload their servers to prevent people from using it. We will continue to monitor the issue.
Many reports within the company and externally through news orginizations have reported Ebay is offline. Ebay is an external service that we are unable to fix ourselves.
